I am not really one who gets into the holiday spirit, I am a well known Grinch. With finals about to dawn upon us, we all though we could use some holiday cheer. Grabbing the gingerbread kits the night before, we were thoroughly prepared to create a village scene complete with a train set. 

Or so we thought.

The pre-baked pieces were cut pretty off, making our gingerbread creations a challenge to be as perfect as can be. Nonetheless, after two hours of hardcore decorating, we created an adorable little village and train set.

I can proudly say that it is the best gingerbread anything I have ever decorated and I feel that it was the perfect pick me up to the unfortunate week to come. Hell week starts tomorrow, Monday, and the only light at the end of the tunnel is the family time and sunshine that is ahead.
