Meteor Crater
Sometimes, well most of the time, explorations do not go as planned. In search for some fun and sun, the creek out by Wilson, AZ was our set destination. The thunderstorm that we were racing apparently was not on the same page. When we finally reached the town of Wilson, we were basically floating....okay that is an exaggeration. Needless to say there was quite a bit of flooding going on.
Not wanting to waste a day off and a chance to explore, we decided to stop off at Meteor Crater on the way back to Flagstaff. Needless to say there is not much to actually see, but it was a sight for sure. Meteor Crater definitely made me realize how small we really are in this world and how much we do not know.
